Do you feel tired, stressed, alone, or that you’re not doing enough—or somehow aren’t enough—no matter how hard your work? Are you ready to discover new ways forward to help you face each day with creativity, self-compassion and resilience?

You’re invited to join world-renowned Equus Coach Koelle Simpson, in the stunning Montana wilderness, for an intimate retreat. Discover how you can create profound new clarity around the needs of your body and heart, which you can then access anytime to help guide you back into balance, so you can maintain more meaningful, connected relationships with yourself, others and the world around you.

A Personal Invitation from Koelle:

Our daily lives are overflowing with activity—from hectic work schedules and answering seemingly endless emails and messages to the energy it takes to cultivate meaningful friendships and relationships, to being present with family while trying to keep everyone you care about alive and thriving—and somehow still keeping up with the laundry. It’s a lot!

No matter how hard you work, it can feel as if there’s always more to do. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been swept up in the social cues and pressures that I should work harder, be more organized, so on—and then, only when everything is checked off my list, can I rest.

This mindset—rooted in scarcity and fear—often leads to excruciating times of exhaustion and stress, sadness, disconnection and loneliness, anxiety and sickness. But, there is another way.

One of the most valuable, life-changing lessons that Mother Nature—and specifically horses—model for me time and again is that when you consciously create the time to slow down and deeply nurture yourself, you will naturally nurture all of those around you without effort.

Each time I’m willing to get curious and become more fully present to my own inner world, I can feel the cells of my body being recharged! It’s a fantastic sensation of resting deeply, while simultaneously generating a peaceful sensation of aliveness that I can access whenever I feel stressed, overwhelmed, or fatigued.

From this empowered state of restored personal balance—I can face the day with curiosity, self-awareness, self-compassion, resilience, creativity and deeply meaningful connections with others.

Taking this time to truly slow down and nurture yourself can be a surprising challenge. But, it’s essential.

That’s why this summer, I want to invite you to take a small leap of faith—step away from your laptop, put down your phone and your to-do list—and join me for a nourishing, playful adventure in self-care, in the gorgeous wilderness of Centennial Valley, Montana.

We’ll gather together, with a small, intimate group of ten other like-minded souls to drink in the breath-taking beauty of wide-open vistas and healing rhythms of Mother Nature. We’ll cultivate experiences of deep connection—to the land, the animals and ourselves—in a safe and nurturing space. We’ll learn how a herd of horses can offer guidance—back to the magic, and abundance, that emerges when we take time out to truly lean into our own self-care.

Through facilitated work with these incredible four-legged teachers, we’ll learn new ways to let go of what we think we are supposed to do or who we are supposed to be. We’ll slow down, drink in the sights, sensations, smells and sounds that surround us as we allow our senses—and souls—to re-awaken to the richness of the moment.

You’ll leave this workshop re-energized with a profound new clarity around the needs of your body and heart, which you can access anytime to help guide you back into balance, so you can maintain more meaningful, connected relationships with yourself, others and the world around you.

If you’ve been feeling tired, stressed, alone, or that you’re not doing enough or somehow aren’t enough—and you’re ready to discover new ways forward—I hope you will join me.

Much love,

Koelle Simpson

Why Horses?

There is something about being with a horse that offers a powerful invitation to slow down, breath-in fully, become present and connect with our whole hearts. One of the most powerful life lessons that horses can offer us is that everything begins with the relationship we’re having with ourselves.

If you want to play together and form a friendship, you first need to find a honest connection within yourself.

But horses have shown us that whenever we can turn our attention inward, and genuinely restore connection with ourselves, we also restore connection with our essential wisdom. This means diving into the subtleties of our own emotions, needs, desires and discovering what it is we truly need—in any moment—to feel safe enough to be utterly ourselves around another.

Come as You Are

No previous horse experience required. No riding is ever required. All activities take place on the ground.

It’s even okay to be afraid of horses. If you feel pulled to attend this workshop, know that Koelle has years of experience gently and safely guiding participants at their personal level of comfort around horses.

“The workshop was life-changing!

I had no idea how much pain was inside of me and no idea what to do with it. Koelle walked me through steps that led to an understanding of how to start valuing myself so I may connect with other people in a healthy way. The horses were extremely effective in providing instantaneous feedback while practicing new skills.”

– Susan B.

“It was very powerful, magical even. I loved the opportunity to play with energy and practice modulating it with the instant feedback of those beautiful, sweet horses.

I studied energy healing for a whole year and never had that kind of practical experience. I have definitely used what I learned and experienced since, both with family and friends. I feel stronger, more “solid” in my energy, and more confident.”

Tina H.

Equine Workshop Retreat Self Care Montana“Life-changing. I was so pleased and grateful we delved into trauma and safety. I found healing in dealing with trauma I hadn’t viewed as such, as well as trauma I knew I’d been dealing with. I also found a level of safety I hadn’t really experienced in a group of women that I’ve been able to take home with me – so grateful!

It’s been so gratifying, healing, fun, and I have said – magic! It truly has changed my life.”

Kay C.

“I am so happy I went. It showed me once again that listening to my heart is the right thing even when “reason” says it is obviously not reasonable and that my inner critic shouts that I am crazy and selfish when I have so many other things and people to take care of.

The experience also brought to light how much I pay attention to other people’s agendas and compromise my own.”

– Johanna M.
