True Belonging Workshop

A Journey to Radical Self-Acceptance

April 27-29, 2018 | Kierson Farm, Flemington, New Jersey

Is the feeling of not doing enough and not being enough fueling a sense of shame in your life, work or relationships?
Do you feel disconnected from your true nature? Or that you don’t truly belong anywhere?

True BelongingYou’re invited to join world-renowned Equus Coach Koelle Simpson, as she models how to create a vibrant world of belonging where we return to our natural state of creativity, vitality, and well-being and recognize that we are always already enough.

A Personal Invitation from Koelle:

I recently worked with a client who felt like he just wasn’t doing enough to serve considering all that was happening in the world around him.

“Everywhere I turn people are fighting. Our political environment is a wreck. The planet seems to be shouting at us with one major climate issue after the next. My colleagues at work don’t trust each other. I’m so exhausted that my romantic partnership is starting to fall apart. On top of it all, my mother is dying. I feel like in every area of my life I’m simply not doing enough. I feel like I’m failing.”

My client is not alone in his struggle. I’ve heard this same dialogue from so many of my clients and friends lately. The feelings of not doing enough and of not being enough can cause us to drown in a sea of shame and guilt. In order to cope, we learn to adopt the persona that best enables us to fit into our broken world, yet inside we feel lonely and disconnected. Not only do we fear we’re not enough, we also feel like we don’t truly belong anywhere.

Animals in nature, especially horses, have been remarkably consistent in their message to me: if you want to change the world, slow down and look inward. Work on transforming your inner landscape with compassion and genuine self-acceptance. The impact of this will far exceed your wildest imagination!

I certainly didn’t believe this at first, but after fifteen years of teaching this remarkable Equus Coaching work, I have come to trust that it is indeed enough. And I know deeply that we are enough too.

Horses have shown me that the path to transformation we’re all desperately seeking centers around some key practices:

  • Grounding ourselves in the present moment and getting in touch with our own needs
  • Being willing to recognize and honor our own boundaries
  • Doing the inner work to arrive at genuine self-acceptance
  • Discovering what we need to feel safe so we can release our judgments and become curious
  • Learning to focus on the quality of our connections

I invite you to join me for this weekend retreat to experience these practices and uncover our true belonging. Together, we will explore how the wisdom of horses can offer a profound model for how to improve our relationship with ourselves, our patterns, and the world around us.

When we experience genuine self-acceptance and belonging, our vitality, creativity, and well-being return naturally and the world around us is radically transformed.

During our time together, you will:

  • Return to your natural state of vitality, creativity, and well-being
  • Experience what it feels like to know that you are always already enough
  • Learn how to identify your energetic patterns and transform your relationship with yourself and the world around you
  • Connect with a supportive community from a state of curiosity, abundance, and joy
  • Discover true belonging
